Little Rock, Arkansas – Young patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital received an early taste of Halloween when hospital staff and Spirit Halloween store workers teamed up to bring costumes and spooky activity kits to the children.
The visit brought seasonal activities into the hospital for kids who are working toward getting healthy. Instead of the children going out to find Halloween fun, the annual partnership brought part of the celebration to them.

The effort is part of Spirit of Children, a program that has worked for 19 years to make time in the hospital a little easier for families. At Arkansas Children’s, the partnership with Spirit creates a day focused on costumes, activities, and enjoyment for young patients.
Hospital employees joined the store workers in making the event possible. Together, they provided children with items that brought a Halloween theme to their day while they remained in the hospital.

The celebration is an annual collaboration between Spirit and Arkansas Children’s. This year’s activities continued that relationship, offering seasonal fun for children spending this part of the year receiving care.
Community members can also contribute to the effort. Donations can be made at local Spirit Halloween store locations to help support more Halloween experiences for children and families.
