In response to a request from Governor Sarah Sanders, the President declared a Major Disaster in Arkansas, opening the door for critical federal assistance for both individuals and local governments.

In addition, Public Assistance will be extended to local governments and counties, providing resources to cover expenses incurred during the recovery process, including infrastructure repairs and public safety operations.
