North Little Rock, Arkansas – Authorities in North Little Rock are searching for a 70-year-old man who was reported missing early Sunday morning, prompting police to request a Silver Alert through the Arkansas State Police.
The missing man was identified as Charles Edward Noise. According to officials, Noise is a patient at The Blossoms Rehab and Nursing Center in North Little Rock. Police believe he may have left the facility Saturday night with a DoorDash driver.
Authorities said Noise was last seen at The Blossoms, located in the 2500 block of John Ashley Drive. Police have been working to determine his whereabouts and are asking the public to remain alert for any information that could help locate him.
Noise is described as approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has short gray hair and was last seen wearing a black or blue plaid jacket or shirt along with a baseball hat.
Police said Noise has Alzheimer’s, Type 2 Diabetes, Kidney Disease and Depression. Authorities also warned that he may be combative, adding to the concern surrounding his disappearance and the need to locate him as soon as possible.
The Silver Alert request was made by the North Little Rock Police Department and activated by the Arkansas State Police as authorities continue their search.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Noise, knows where he could be or has information about his movements after he was last seen to contact investigators. Even information that may seem minor could help authorities establish where he went after leaving the nursing facility.
Anyone with information about Charles Edward Noise’s whereabouts is asked to contact the North Little Rock Police Department at 501-680-8439. Information can also be provided directly to Detective Lonnell Tims at 501-771-7165.
Authorities are urging people who may have encountered Noise since Saturday night to report what they know rather than attempting to handle the situation themselves, particularly because police have said he may be combative.
The search remains focused on locating Noise and helping ensure his safe return. Police and state authorities are relying on information from the public as they work to determine where he may have gone after leaving The Blossoms.
