Pine Bluff Police are actively searching for two suspects involved in a shoplifting spree that totaled nearly $1,500 in stolen goods at a local Walmart

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Police in Pine Bluff are searching for two women suspected of walking out of a local Walmart with nearly $1,500 worth of unpaid merchandise during a bold shoplifting incident on Friday.

According to officials, the suspects were caught on a security camera at the Walmart Supercenter located on Olive Street. Footage shows the two women leaving the store without paying for a cart full of merchandise, which investigators later determined was valued at $1,484 before taxes. The stolen items totaled 38 in number.

Authorities said the women were seen exiting the store and getting into a newer model white Dodge Durango. Witnesses told police the SUV sped out of the parking lot recklessly, nearly colliding with another vehicle as it fled the scene.

Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the individuals involved. The Pine Bluff Police Department has released still images from surveillance footage and is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

“Anyone with information about these individuals or their whereabouts is asked to contact the PBPD Detective Division at 870-730-2090, the tip line at 870-730-2106, or the dispatch center at 870-541-5300,” officials said in a statement.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details about the suspects have been released at this time.

Local authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report anything they believe may be connected to the incident.
