Fountain Lake, Arkansas – The Fountain Lake Lady Cobras are heading to the 3A State Tournament with a regional championship after rallying to defeat Conway Christian 3-2 on Wednesday. The five-set victory secured the 2026 3A South Regional Volleyball title and gave coach Tina Moore another milestone to celebrate.
The championship win brought Moore’s career total to 601 victories, adding to her standing as the winningest coach in any sport in Fountain Lake history. Having reached the 600-win mark, she followed that achievement by guiding the Lady Cobras to a regional crown.
For Fountain Lake, Wednesday’s result brought together a team accomplishment and another addition to its coach’s record. The Lady Cobras completed their comeback against Conway Christian with the title on the line, finishing the match with the three sets needed to win.
Fountain Lake Athletics celebrated the result in a regional championship announcement, praising the players for the effort that carried them through the tournament.
“What a tournament, what a team, and what an incredible accomplishment,” Fountain Lake Athletics officials wrote. “These girls have battled, worked, and given it their all, and now they have a REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP to show for it!”
The school’s celebration also recognized Moore’s contribution to the program. Her 601 victories represent a record that reaches beyond volleyball, placing her ahead of coaches across all sports in Fountain Lake’s history.
