CARTI Festival of Trees returns to Little Rock for the 49th annual celebration supporting cancer patients

Little Rock, Arkansas – The holiday season in Little Rock will once again sparkle as CARTI brings back its beloved Festival of Trees from November 6 through 8. Now in its 49th year, the festival promises to be a vibrant celebration while raising crucial funds to expand access to cancer care across Arkansas.

The annual event will take place at the Wally Allen Ballroom in the Statehouse Convention Center and features a range of festive experiences for attendees. Highlights include the Sugar Plum Ball, Festival of Fashion, and the Tux ‘n Trees gala. Guests can also explore a silent auction of beautifully designed and decorated trees, each crafted to delight visitors and showcase the creativity of participating designers.

Tickets for the festival go on sale this Tuesday, offering community members a chance to enjoy a weekend full of holiday cheer while supporting an important cause. Proceeds from the Festival of Trees benefit CARTI’s Patient Assistance Program, which provides vital services to patients navigating the challenges of cancer treatment. This includes transportation to appointments, lodging for those traveling long distances, financial support, and emotional and nutritional counseling designed to ease the burden of care.

“At Festival of Trees, we can celebrate their ‘Courage in Full Color’ by helping support them for every step of their cancer journeys,” said Grace Raja, M.D., CARTI Foundation board member and Tux ‘n Trees co-chair. Her words underscore the festival’s mission to honor patients while directly contributing to programs that make treatment more accessible and less stressful.

The festival is not only an opportunity for community members to come together in a spirit of generosity but also a chance to engage in elegant celebrations that combine fashion, music, and the magic of the holiday season. From gala events to silent auctions, every activity is designed to highlight both the creativity of local designers and the enduring resilience of those facing cancer.

Tickets can be purchased online at CARTI.com/FestivalofTrees, and all members of the community are encouraged to attend and show support. With nearly five decades of tradition, the Festival of Trees continues to be a hallmark event in Little Rock, demonstrating how celebrations can bring both joy and meaningful impact to those in need.
