Argenta Contemporary Theater announces a new production of ‘SIX: Teen Edition’ this August in North Little Rock

North Little Rock, Arkansas – The Argenta Contemporary Theater in North Little Rock is gearing up for an exciting new production this August: SIX: Teen Edition. This teenage adaptation of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’s popular musical SIX will bring the captivating story of the six wives of King Henry VIII to the stage in a fresh and dynamic way. Audiences can expect to experience the incredible journey of these women as they take them through more than 500 years of history, packed with drama, music, and unforgettable moments.

The performances will run from August 13 to August 17, with a mix of daytime and evening showings. The daytime performances are scheduled for 2 p.m. on August 16 and 17, while the evening shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. from August 13 to 16. In a special twist, the swings (understudies) will perform during the August 16 show, adding an extra layer of excitement to the production.

Six: Teen Edition reimagines the original Six in a way that makes it more relatable to younger audiences while maintaining the core of the historical and musical storytelling. With catchy songs and vibrant characters, the show explores the wives of Henry VIII, each with her own story to tell, in a format that feels both modern and educational.
