Little Rock, Arkansas – Although the season hasn’t gone as Hog supporters had planned, the Razorbacks still have two games remaining to play for a bowl game.
Although Jim Frank is pleased with it, he says he wishes the Hogs would do more.
Frank remarked, “I don’t think that’s really what we want at the end of the day. We want to be better than just getting to a bowl.”
However, according to Elliot Labeau, the Hogs have had a respectable season.
“We’ve given it our all and performed incredibly well against every highly ranked team,” Labeau stated.
Arkansas has a 5-5 record heading into Saturday’s matchup with Louisiana Tech, and six victories are required to qualify for the bowl.
Frank remarked, “There’s definitely room for improvement.” “I believe that if we could at least qualify for a bowl and attend one, it would be great for the supporters and everyone.”
Although it hasn’t been the best season, he noted the Razorbacks have made great progress.
“I think we’re probably about where we were expected to be if you look back at the record and the teams we’ve played,” Frank stated.
The Razorbacks have what it takes to win their next two games and bring home a trophy, according to both Frank and Labeau.
With a slight adjustment on the offensive end, Labeau stated, “I think we have a good solid group of guys especially on the defensive side and we should be really good.”
Since Arkansas ended their two-year bowling streak last year with four victories, hog supporters are seriously thinking about making a bowl.
“It would be really important for us to win these next two games,” Frank stated.
