North Little Rock, Arkansas – Libraries are usually places where visitors are reminded to keep their voices down. That will not be the case later this month when professional wrestling returns to Laman Library in North Little Rock.
The North Little Rock Public Library System is bringing back Natural State Rasslin’ on Sept. 26 for a second event at the library. This time, the show will be presented as “Lucha Libre at the Library,” celebrating the colorful tradition of Lucha Libre as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The event will be held at Laman Library, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Bell time is scheduled for 7 p.m. The event is free and open to people of all ages.
Although there is no admission charge, the wrestling event is donation-based. Organizers said 100% of the money raised through donations will go directly toward supporting the library.

The return of Natural State Rasslin’ follows the success of the promotion’s first event at the library in March. That debut show sold out, creating enough interest for the library and organizers to bring the spectacle back for another night.
For the September event, organizers are putting the spotlight on Lucha Libre, a style of wrestling with a long and influential tradition. The theme also fits with the library’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The lineup will feature a number of wrestlers and special guests. Eli Perez and Gorgeous Gabriel Valentine will serve as special guest co-hosts for the evening.
The scheduled card also includes Bueno Man Sr., BLACKWELL w Halo, Manico, NSR Wiiide Open Champion TB DaShow and KARNEDGE, along with other performers who will take part in the event.
The organizers are inviting both returning fans and people who have never attended a Natural State Rasslin’ show before. Those who attended the sold-out March event will have another chance to see the action, while newcomers can experience the unusual combination of a wrestling show and a public library for themselves.
With the ropes, ring and wrestlers returning to Laman Library, the September event promises to be a very different kind of night at the library.

The library system is using the event not only as entertainment but also as a fundraiser. Because all funds raised will support the library, attendees can contribute while enjoying the free show.

The event is open to all ages, and no admission fee is required. Organizers are encouraging the community to come out, make some noise and support the library during a night that brings the energy of Lucha Libre into an unexpected setting.
