Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Music fans in Arkansas will have two major concerts to look forward to this fall as Saracen Casino Resort has announced performances by country music standout Jamey Johnson and internationally recognized reggae-pop band UB40 at the Saracen Event Center in Pine Bluff.

The two performances will take place about a month apart, giving audiences the chance to enjoy two very different musical styles while bringing nationally known acts to one of the state’s premier entertainment venues.

The first show on the schedule features Jamey Johnson, the acclaimed country singer and songwriter who has earned widespread recognition throughout his career. According to Saracen Casino Resort, Johnson will take the stage at the Saracen Event Center on Saturday, Oct. 3, with the concert scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Johnson’s performance will start at $99, not including applicable fees. Fans will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. The resort also announced that VIP packages will be available through a separate VIP ticket link for those looking for an enhanced concert experience.

His catalog includes several well-known songs that have become favorites among country music fans, including “Give It Away” and “In Color.” Those hits, along with selections from across his career, are expected to be part of the evening’s performance.

Just over a month later, the Saracen Event Center will welcome another internationally recognized act when UB40 arrives in Pine Bluff.

The legendary reggae-pop group is scheduled to perform on Saturday, Nov. 7, with the show also beginning at 8 p.m. Ticket prices for the concert will start at $39, plus applicable fees, making it a more affordable option for fans eager to experience the band’s signature sound live.

Like Johnson’s concert, tickets for UB40 will go on sale Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
