Little Rock, Arkansas – Travelers flying out of central Arkansas will have more options this summer, as Clinton National Airport continues to expand its network of nonstop destinations. The airport has introduced several new routes aimed at making vacation travel and connections across the United States easier and more direct.
Among the newest additions are nonstop flights to Destin, Orlando-Sanford, and Saint Pete-Clearwater. These routes officially began operating at the end of May and are expected to be especially popular with passengers heading to Florida’s Gulf Coast and central Florida regions during the busy travel season.
For those planning trips to major theme parks and attractions, even more options are on the way. Starting June 6, 2026, travelers will also be able to fly nonstop from Little Rock to Orlando International Airport, one of the busiest travel hubs in the country and a primary gateway to Walt Disney World and other major destinations.
With these additions, Clinton National Airport now offers nonstop service to 17 airports across the United States, significantly widening travel possibilities for Arkansas residents without requiring long layovers or connecting flights through larger hubs.
Airport officials say the expansion reflects growing demand for convenient regional travel and stronger connections to popular vacation spots. It also highlights Little Rock’s role as an increasingly active airport in the national air travel network.
Clinton National Airport currently works with six major airlines—American, Southwest, Delta, United, Allegiant, and Frontier—giving passengers a wide range of choices in terms of pricing, schedules, and destinations. Combined, the airport now supports more than 80 flights per day, offering frequent departures throughout the week.
That level of activity means travelers can often find flexible timing whether they are flying for business, leisure, or family visits. The addition of new nonstop routes is expected to further improve convenience, particularly during peak summer travel periods when demand is highest.
For many passengers, the biggest advantage is reduced travel time. Instead of connecting through multiple airports, travelers can now reach popular Florida destinations directly from Little Rock, making short vacations easier to plan and long trips less stressful.
The new Orlando International Airport route, in particular, is expected to draw strong interest due to its access to major attractions, resorts, and transportation links throughout central Florida. Combined with the existing Orlando-Sanford option, travelers now have multiple ways to reach the region depending on their travel needs and schedules.
