Hot Springs, Arkansas – The Arkansas Diamonds, formerly known as the Hot Springs Wiseguys, have officially released their schedule for the 2026 season of The Arena League, marking a new chapter for the team as they embrace their rebranded identity. After a thrilling inaugural campaign, the team is set to return to the Bank OZK Arena for four home games over a nine-week season, facing both familiar rivals and exciting new opponents.
The team made headlines last year as the Hot Springs Wiseguys, showcasing high-flying plays and earning a spot in Arena Mania II. In August, the organization announced a new name and branding, choosing the nickname Arkansas Diamonds to “open the doors to the entire state.” The rebrand reflects a statewide vision, positioning the team to expand its reach and fan base beyond Hot Springs.
During the upcoming season, the Diamonds will face a mix of returning teams and fresh competition, including new franchises from Monroe, Louisiana, and Memphis, Tennessee. The 2026 schedule kicks off on May 29 with a home game against the St. Joseph Goats, followed by a series of away and home matchups throughout June and July. Notable games include a June 27 home game against Memphis and a July 25 home matchup against Monroe.
Leading the team for the 2026 season is coach Bones Bagaunte, who guided the team to the playoffs in their rookie season. Under his leadership, the Diamonds aim to build on their early success and continue cultivating a competitive and entertaining team for fans across Arkansas and beyond.
The Arkansas Diamonds are also inviting aspiring players to join the roster, with a tryout scheduled for 10 a.m. on Jan. 17 at the Hot Springs High School stadium. The team encourages all interested athletes to participate as they seek to strengthen the squad for another dynamic season of arena football.
“Our inaugural season showed what we could achieve on the field and the excitement we can bring to fans,” said a team representative. “With our new branding as the Arkansas Diamonds, we’re not just representing Hot Springs—we’re representing the entire state, and we want our community to be part of this journey.”
The team’s 2026 schedule promises a mix of high-energy competition and fan engagement, with home games at Bank OZK Arena offering opportunities for local supporters to see the Diamonds in action. With new rivals, a reimagined identity, and experienced coaching, the Diamonds aim to make the 2026 season a memorable one.
