Tops Bar-B-Q and Burgers is opening a brand new location in Jonesboro for local barbecue and burger fans

Jonesboro, Arkansas – Fans of flavorful barbecue and classic burgers have a new reason to celebrate as Tops Bar-B-Q and Burgers prepares to open its doors in Jonesboro. The Memphis-based eatery, known for its smoked meats and hearty sandwiches, is bringing its signature menu to a new location on Hilltop, promising residents a local spot to enjoy the chain’s fan-favorite dishes without leaving town.

The new restaurant will take over the former Demo’s Smokehouse building at 4115 E. Johnson Ave., a familiar spot for many locals who have long associated the location with smoked barbecue. A spokesperson for Tops Bar-B-Q and Burgers confirmed to K8 News that preparations for the grand opening are well underway, including hiring staff to ensure a smooth launch.

On Tuesday, crews were spotted busy installing new signage on the building and making interior adjustments to accommodate the restaurant’s layout and kitchen setup. The effort to transform the former smokehouse into a Tops location reflects the chain’s commitment to bringing its Memphis-style barbecue experience to communities across the region.

While a specific opening date has not yet been announced, Tops Bar-B-Q and Burgers has already built anticipation among local barbecue enthusiasts and burger lovers.
