Saline County, Arkansas – A Wednesday morning commute along Interstate 30 was disrupted after a crash involving three school buses near Bryant, according to transportation officials.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) reported that the incident happened at 10:17 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of I-30 near the 123-mile marker. The location sits within the Bryant area, a busy stretch of highway that often carries both local and through traffic during school and work hours.

Officials confirmed that three buses were involved in the crash. At this time, authorities have not released details about which school district the buses belong to, and it remains unclear what led up to the collision.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Traffic in the area was affected as crews worked to assess the situation and manage the flow of vehicles along the interstate.

According to ARDOT, there were minor injuries reported in connection with the incident. However, officials have not provided additional information about how many people were injured or whether any students were transported for medical evaluation.

The presence of multiple school buses raised immediate concern, but early reports suggest the injuries were not serious. Authorities have not indicated any life-threatening conditions related to the crash.

Drivers traveling through the area experienced delays as lanes were impacted while emergency personnel responded. The crash site near Bryant is a well-traveled section of I-30, and even short disruptions can quickly lead to traffic backups during peak morning hours.

Officials have not yet released a detailed explanation of how the crash occurred. Investigations are expected to continue as authorities gather information from the scene and those involved.

As of now, no further updates have been provided regarding possible citations or contributing factors such as weather, speed, or traffic conditions at the time of the collision.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation is expected to continue monitoring the situation and coordinating with other agencies involved in the investigation.

More details may be released once officials complete initial assessments and confirm additional information about the buses and their assignments.
