Little Rock, Arkansas – In anticipation of the cold weather this week, Arkansans head to a local grocery store.
Diane Gilleland, a shopper, stated that she needed to stock her food storage this time.
My grandchildren are ill, and my daughter is dealing with a health issue. Thus, I’m also purchasing food for them,” Gilleland stated.
Customers swarm Little Rock’s Drug Emporium seeking necessities.
As the temperatures continue to drop, Teandrea Plummer, a worker, said she anticipates the store to be busy for days.
Additionally, icy roads accompany chilly temperatures.
According to Gilleland, “You’re stuck when you come out of our driveway unless you have a 4-wheel-drive, so I’m planning on being stuck for several days.”
Even though the weather has been unpredictable this winter, Gilleland said she is remaining positive and getting ready to be stranded in the snow.
