The Martin Luther King Jr. Commission of Arkansas is holding a holiday food and toy distribution

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Before Christmas, the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission is holding a gathering to assist those in need.

On December 20 at 3 p.m., the commission will hold a food and toy giveaway at the Network of Believers Church, located at 3725 Harold St. in North Little Rock.

Officials stated the giveaway will feature toys for kids in attendance as well as free food distribution on a first-come, first-served basis.

Commission executive director DuShun Scarbrough stated, “We believe in the importance of serving our community and uplifting those in need in the spirit of Dr. King.” “What are you doing for others?” is the most pressing and enduring question in life, according to Dr. King. We are responding to that appeal and giving our neighbors joy and hope by holding this event.

According to commission officials, you can visit ARKingDream.org or call the commission at 888-290-KING for additional details about the event or how to participate.
