The historic hotel is celebrating its one hundredth anniversary

Hot Springs, Arkansas – This past New Year’s Eve, the Arlington Hotel Resort and Spa in Hot Springs celebrated its one-hundredth year in business.

Alan Sims, the general manager of Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, was quoted in the press release as saying that it was a fantastic experience to be able to raise a glass to the event that occurred one hundred years beforehand.

Although it first opened its doors in 1875, the hotel was destroyed by fire in 1923.

It was soon after the fire occurred that officials started working on this hotel, which is located just across the street, according to Sims.

Famous people, such as former President Bill Clinton, have been known to stay at the hotel, which has contributed to the property’s widespread notoriety.
