SoMa 501 & Little Rock Marathon hosting SoMardi Gras Pre-Party at Rock Town Distillery

Little Rock, Arkansas – Attendees of the Little Rock Marathon and the SoMardi Gras procession can begin their fun-filled weekend in the capital city with a pre-party.

The Rock Town Distillery will host the event on Friday, February 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. A dinner buffet by Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, live music by Butterfly from New Orleans, and other entertainment will be featured during the event.

It will take place prior to the SoMardi Gras Street Festival & Parade and the Little Rock Marathon activities. On Saturday, March 1, the Little Rock Marathon’s 5K, 10K, and Kids Race will begin at 7 a.m. On Sunday, March 2, at 5 a.m., the Little Rock Marathon and Half Marathon will take place.

Elizabeth Michael, executive director of SoMa 501, stated, “We are excited to bring people together to celebrate the energy of SoMa, and this weekend is one of the best times of the year to be in Little Rock.” “It’s a weekend full of movement, music, and Mardi Gras magic, in addition to the Little Rock Marathon events, the street festival, the parade, and now this exciting new mural project.”
