Pulaski County man wins big after scratching a $100000 prize on a five-dollar lottery ticket

Little Rock, Arkansas – A simple stop at a local gas station turned into a life-changing moment for one Pulaski County resident who recently won a $100,000 top prize on an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery instant game ticket.

Danny W., who lives in Pulaski County, made the unexpected winning purchase during what he described as a typical drive home. He picked up a $5 Jewel 7’s scratch-off ticket at Jordan’s Kwik Stop #79, located at 2620 W. Main in Clarksville. That small investment soon paid off in a big way.

After scratching the ticket, Danny was stunned. “I kept thinking I didn’t do it right,” he told lottery officials. “I had to adjust my glasses.” What at first seemed like disbelief quickly turned into reality as the numbers confirmed he had won one of the game’s top prizes.

Lottery officials confirmed on Tuesday that Danny successfully claimed his $100,000 prize. The Jewel 7’s game, which costs just $5 per ticket, still has one remaining top prize available as of this announcement.

This win adds to the growing list of Arkansans who have seen their lives changed through the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Launched to support education in the state, the lottery funds scholarships and grants for students attending two- and four-year colleges and universities across Arkansas.

Danny’s story is a reminder that sometimes, even a small purchase made on a regular day can lead to an extraordinary outcome.
