Protesters opposing President Donald Trump and Project 2025 gather at the Arkansas State Capitol

Little Rock, Arkansas – Little Rock demonstrators have joined a campaign against the administration’s initial policies under President Donald Trump.

The #buildtheresistance and #50501 movements have coordinated 50 demonstrations in 50 states on a single day.

The Arkansas State Capitol is one of several state capitols where protests are taking place.

The movement’s fliers criticize Project 2025, which aims to abolish federal government agencies.

One protester from Arkansas expressed genuine concern about the disregard for the checks and balances that are the foundation of our government. “I have serious concerns about the future of our government and the condition of our democracy.”

The demonstration is being attended by demonstrators from all over the nation.
