Little Rock, Arkansas – With the start of a new school year approaching, Park Plaza is making one final push to collect school supplies for students in need as its annual Back to School, Back to Giving campaign enters its final two weeks.
The Little Rock shopping center is encouraging shoppers and community members to contribute essential classroom items before the donation drive concludes. Organizers hope the remaining weeks will bring in enough supplies to help local students begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
Donation stations have been placed in two convenient locations throughout the mall. Visitors can drop off supplies near the food court on Level 1 or near Zales on Level 2, making it easy for shoppers to participate while visiting the center.
The campaign is seeking a variety of basic school supplies that students use throughout the academic year. Among the most needed items are backpacks without wheels, composition notebooks, rulers, loose-leaf notebook paper, pencils, pens, and pocket folders. Organizers note that these supplies will directly benefit children and families preparing for the upcoming school year.
