North Little Rock, Arkansas – Authorities in North Little Rock are actively searching for a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in a local gas station parking lot earlier this month. The North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) confirmed that the incident occurred on November 13 at the Shell gas station located at 4123 MacArthur Drive.
Police said they were called to the scene after receiving reports of a possible gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Devoris Lockhart of North Little Rock suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite efforts to provide immediate aid, Lockhart was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have since identified 29-year-old Shaqwon Collins as the primary suspect in the case. Collins faces multiple charges, including capital murder, criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery, terroristic act, and possession of firearms by certain persons. Officials warned the public that Collins should be considered armed and dangerous.
According to police reports, Collins may be traveling in a silver 2002 Chevy Impala with Arkansas license plates 591ZJV. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who sees the vehicle or has information about Collins’ whereabouts to contact authorities immediately.
