Little Rock, Arkansas – Residents in west Little Rock will soon have a chance to engage with city leaders and access municipal services without making the trip downtown. The City of Little Rock has announced that its next Mobile City Hall event will take place on Monday, September 8, at Grace United Church, located at 12900 Cantrell Road.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and is designed to provide convenient access to city resources in a more approachable neighborhood setting. Instead of requiring residents to visit City Hall during regular weekday hours, Mobile City Hall brings the services directly to the community.
Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. emphasized that the program is part of a larger effort to make government more transparent and accessible. “Through our Mobile City Hall initiative, we are breaking down barriers to make city services even more accessible to our residents,” the mayor said. “We want to be more visible and more responsive, as we work to find real-time solutions to address needs across our City.”
A wide range of services will be available on site. City department representatives will be present to answer questions, guide residents through common processes, and provide information about everything from police reports to building permits. The setup allows attendees to visit different tables and learn directly from staff about the resources each department offers.
In addition to one-on-one conversations, city officials will host a town hall-style discussion. This session will allow residents to raise concerns, suggest improvements, and hear updates directly from Mayor Scott and department leaders.
