Future generations of police officers are inspired by Officer Norman

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Tommy Norman, a police officer, has a large number of acquaintances in the community of all ages.

Few of his acquaintances would say they aspire to be law enforcement officers.

When Officer Norman lets her sit in his patrol car and put on his police jacket, Charity, who is five years old, adores it.

Charit said, “Police are the best.”

Since they first met, Charity has been adamant about what she wants to do with her life, according to Officer Norman.

Norman declared, “One day, there will be an Officer Charity.”

Norman claims that knowing he’s having an influence that inspires children to pursue similar careers makes him feel proud.

“That gives me and other officers a sense of satisfaction,” he stated.

At the bus stop, where Officer Norman reads books to Charity and other children, Norman and Charity first became close.

Charity receives the same officer, Norman, whether he is in uniform or not.

Officer Norman stated, “That trust did not come overnight.” “My friendship with Charity doesn’t continue after my shift ends.”

A smile, a friendship, an impression. For Charity, all of these are similar in that they consistently discuss Officer Norman.

He hopes she will remember this lesson when she fulfills her dream of becoming Officer Charity.

The friendship takes precedence over that police officer. “The heart is more important than the badge,” Norman remarked.
