FBI Little Rock offers five thousand dollar reward for information leading to arrest of Texarkana man

Little Rock, Arkansas – The FBI’s Little Rock field office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Texarkana man wanted in connection with a violent crime. Officials say 31-year-old Brandon Lakeith Jenkins is wanted after allegedly shooting three people during a home invasion robbery in Texarkana, Texas, on August 29, 2023. Authorities believe Jenkins has fled across Arkansas to evade capture.

The FBI has announced a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to Jenkins’ arrest and conviction. “He should be considered armed and dangerous,” officials emphasized, urging the public to remain cautious.

Jenkins was charged on September 11, 2023, by the Bowie County Magistrate in Texas with engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault. Officials noted that he has known ties to both Texarkana, Texas, and Hope, Arkansas, which could indicate possible locations where he might be hiding.

Authorities provided a detailed description of Jenkins, saying he is a Black man, 5-foot-5 inches tall, weighing approximately 153 pounds. Given the nature of the alleged crimes, FBI officials have warned that Jenkins is considered an escape risk.

The public is urged to contact local authorities immediately if they have any information about Jenkins’ whereabouts. Tips can be reported directly to the Texarkana, Texas, police department at 903-798-3165. Officials stressed that even small pieces of information could be crucial in apprehending Jenkins safely and quickly.

The FBI’s ongoing search underscores the importance of community cooperation in cases involving violent crimes. By offering a monetary reward and publicly sharing details about Jenkins, authorities hope to gather leads that will bring him into custody and prevent further danger to the public.

The investigation remains active, and the FBI continues to work closely with local law enforcement agencies across Arkansas and Texas to locate Jenkins. Officials say that anyone with knowledge of his location should come forward as soon as possible to help ensure justice for the victims of the alleged home invasion.
