Christmas tree buyers visit Motley’s Tree Farm in Little Rock

Little Rock, Arkansas – People are out shopping for gifts and even Christmas trees now that the holiday season is well underway.

One location where a tree can be obtained and associated with entertainment is Motley’s Tree Farm in Little Rock.

According to Mike Motley, the tree farm evolved into more than just a location to purchase a Christmas tree.

“This company was founded in 1982 by my parents, Randy and Linda Motley,” Motley stated.
Pig races, a petting zoo, and the most recent addition, a gigantic slide, have all been added over the establishment’s 42-year history.

Bliss Smith, a Christmas tree shopper, remarked, “I’ve been coming here forever.” “There was actually a snowy year a few years ago, and it was particularly magical.”

Families return year after year because of the memories created during the holidays.

For the past five years, Cary Pruss and his family have been regular customers of Motley’s. Tree-cutting is a family custom, he said.

“Everyone has a part, everyone does something,” Pruss said, adding, “and we’re going to go home and put our tree up like we do every year.” The topping is mine to do.

Pruss looks forward to carrying on with it, and other Christmas tree shoppers see it as a positive start.

Griffin Smith remarked, “Perhaps we can establish a new custom of coming here annually once we have our own family.”
