Camden, Arkansas – Camden police have made an arrest following a fatal stabbing that took place early Saturday morning at a local nightclub, an incident that left one young man dead and another person injured.

According to investigators, the violence unfolded at the Ten O Five Lounge on Adams Street at approximately 1:10 a.m., a time when the venue was still active with patrons. Officers were called to the scene after reports of a disturbance, and what they found was a serious and fast-moving emergency.

When officers arrived, they said they found 21-year-old Isiah Laudermilk lying on the ground with several stab wounds. Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts to save his life, he later died from his injuries.

A second victim, an adult female, was also injured during the incident. Authorities confirmed she was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Her condition was reported as stable following medical care.

Investigators quickly began working to identify a suspect as they processed the scene and gathered witness statements. By Saturday morning, police located and arrested 24-year-old James Finks at his home in Camden. Officials said he was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities have not yet released additional details about what led up to the confrontation inside the nightclub, and the motive remains under investigation. Police continue to piece together the sequence of events that escalated into fatal violence during the early hours of the morning.

The Camden Police Department is also asking the public for assistance as the case moves forward. Investigators believe there may be additional witnesses who were present at the lounge but have not yet come forward.

Camden police are encouraging anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 870-836-5755.

As the investigation continues, the community is left dealing with the aftermath of a violent incident that unfolded in a busy nightlife setting. Authorities have not indicated whether further arrests are expected, but they say the case remains active as they work to fully understand what happened inside the lounge that night.
