Bryant police investigate shooting at William Lane home in King’s Crossing neighborhood

Bryant, Arkansas – Bryant police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday morning at a home in the King’s Crossing neighborhood, where one person was injured and taken to a local hospital.

According to officials, officers were called to a residence on William Lane at approximately 7:30 a.m. after reports of a shooting. When police arrived, they located one victim at the scene and arranged for the person to receive medical treatment.

Authorities have not released information about the victim’s condition or provided additional details about the injuries. Police said the investigation remains active as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting.

Investigators confirmed that one suspect is currently in custody. The Bryant Police Department said there are no additional suspects being sought at this time, indicating that officials do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the surrounding community.

The incident brought a police response to the King’s Crossing neighborhood during the morning hours as officers secured the area and began gathering information. Detectives are continuing their work, including reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident and collecting evidence.

The department has not released the identity of the victim or the person taken into custody. Officials said more information will be provided as the investigation moves forward.
