Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas residents who want to participate in the upcoming November elections have reached their final day to register to vote.

Monday, Oct. 5, is the voter registration deadline for Arkansans who still need to complete the process before the November election. Residents who are unsure about their current status are also being encouraged to verify their registration information.

Voters can check their status through the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Voter View website. The online service allows residents to confirm whether they are registered and provides additional information they may need before heading to the polls.

In addition to checking registration, voters can use Voter View to find their voting locations and access a sample ballot. Reviewing a sample ballot ahead of the election can give voters an opportunity to see the races and issues that will appear when they cast their votes.

Arkansans can also confirm their voter registration directly through their county clerk’s office.

For residents who still need to register, voter applications are available through several locations across the state.

Applications can be obtained from a local county clerk or by contacting the Arkansas Secretary of State Elections Division at 1-800-482-1127.

Several other public offices and organizations also provide voter registration applications. Residents may obtain one through a local revenue or Department of Motor Vehicles office.

Applications are also available at public libraries, disability agencies and military recruitment offices.

With the Oct. 5 deadline in place, residents planning to vote in November should make sure their registration is completed on time. Those who believe they are already registered can use the state’s online system or contact their county clerk to verify their information before Election Day.

The Secretary of State’s Voter View service can also help registered voters prepare by providing polling location information and sample ballots.
