The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) confirmed that the app is free to download and is available for anyone holding an Arkansas driver’s license or state ID. Once enrolled, users can present their Mobile ID at participating businesses and venues as a valid form of identification, providing a seamless and secure option for everyday use.
“The Arkansas Mobile ID offers Arkansans an easy and modern way to carry their identification,” officials said. “It provides the same legal validity as a physical ID while adding convenience and accessibility for residents on the go.”
Since its initial launch in March, the Mobile ID’s reach has expanded significantly. Arkansans can now use the digital ID at TSA checkpoints in over 260 airports across the United States, giving travelers a fast and secure method to verify their identity without reaching for a physical license.
