Little Rock, Arkansas – Central Arkansas residents will have several opportunities to receive free flu vaccines this fall through a partnership between Baptist Health and Goodwill of Arkansas.
Baptist Health’s Mobile Health Unit will travel to several Goodwill locations across the region during October and November, offering flu shots at no cost to eligible residents.
The vaccines will be available to anyone age 12 and older. No appointment is required, allowing residents to visit during the scheduled hours without registering in advance. Health insurance is also not required to receive a vaccine.
The effort comes as flu season gets underway and will bring vaccination services directly to Goodwill stores in Little Rock, Conway, Hot Springs, Benton and Bryant.
The first scheduled stop will be in Conway on Oct. 20. Baptist Health’s mobile unit will be at the Goodwill location at 2425 Sanders Street from 1 to 3 p.m.
Two more vaccination events are planned for Oct. 30.
In Hot Springs, free flu shots will be offered at 205 Garrison Road between 1 and 3 p.m. The mobile health service will also be available at the Goodwill location at 1716 Military Road in Benton during the same hours.
Little Rock residents will have two opportunities on Nov. 4.
The first event will take place at 7400 Scott Hamilton Drive from 9 to 11 a.m. Later that day, flu vaccinations will be offered at the Goodwill store at 16924 Cantrell Road from 1 to 3 p.m.

The final scheduled stop will take place in Bryant on Nov. 13. Residents can visit the Goodwill location at 5914 Hwy 5 North between 1 and 3 p.m. to receive a free vaccine.
Through the partnership, Baptist Health’s Mobile Health Unit is bringing the vaccination service into several Central Arkansas communities rather than requiring residents to visit a traditional health care facility.
The lack of appointment and insurance requirements also means eligible residents can simply visit one of the participating Goodwill locations during the scheduled time.
All of the announced clinics are open to people age 12 and older, and the flu vaccines will be provided free of charge.
