Little Rock, Arkansas – Little Rock is set to welcome thousands of visitors and residents this weekend as Little Rock Black Pride returns with a series of events celebrating culture, community and inclusion across the capital city.

Organizers have scheduled activities from June 5 through June 7, creating a three-day gathering designed to bring together members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies, families, supporters and visitors from throughout Arkansas and neighboring states. The annual celebration is expected to draw significant attendance, with participants traveling from across the region to take part in the festivities.

According to organizers, this year’s event will focus on several key themes, including diversity, wellness, visibility, entertainment, economic empowerment and community engagement. The weekend schedule offers a mix of social events, educational opportunities and family-oriented programming intended to appeal to a wide range of attendees.

The celebration begins on Friday, June 5, with the Official Reception and All White Affair, an event that organizers say will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect, celebrate and kick off the weekend’s activities together. The opening event is expected to set the tone for a weekend centered on unity and shared experiences.

Activities continue on Saturday, June 6, with several featured events planned throughout the day. One of the highlights is Drag Brunch at Rosie’s Pot & Kettle, followed later by the Summer Sunset Experience. The evening will conclude with a Saturday Night Main Event featuring television personality and entertainer Milan Christopher, who is expected to draw attendees from across the region.

While entertainment plays a major role in the weekend’s programming, organizers emphasize that the celebration also focuses on health, wellness and community resources.

That emphasis will be especially visible during Wellness in the Park, scheduled for Sunday, June 7, at MacArthur Park. Organizers describe the event as a family-friendly, child-friendly and pet-friendly festival designed to provide both entertainment and access to valuable community services.

More than 70 vendors are expected to participate in the Sunday gathering. Attendees will have access to health screenings, Hepatitis C testing, blood pressure checks, wellness information, yoga activities and resources from community organizations. Food vendors and live entertainment will also be available throughout the day, creating an environment that blends health awareness with celebration and community engagement.

Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming space where people can connect, access resources and celebrate the diversity that strengthens communities throughout Arkansas. By combining cultural programming, health initiatives and social events, the weekend aims to provide something for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The event also highlights the growing role of community-based celebrations in fostering visibility and support networks. For many participants, gatherings such as Little Rock Black Pride serve as opportunities to build connections, strengthen community ties and celebrate identity in an inclusive environment.

Residents, visitors, families, allies and supporters are encouraged to participate in the weekend’s activities and help celebrate a gathering centered on pride, culture and community. Organizers say the event continues to grow each year, reflecting increasing engagement and support from across the region.
