Stuttgart, Arkansas – Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred during the city’s annual Easter in the Gart celebration, raising concerns across the local community. The incident unfolded on Easter Sunday evening near Holman School, an area that had been bustling with families attending holiday festivities.

At approximately 7:21 p.m., Stuttgart Police Department dispatchers began receiving multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area. Officers were immediately sent to the scene, though initial reports indicated that the injured individuals were already en route to a local hospital. Emergency responders arrived quickly to secure the area and ensure the safety of attendees.

To prevent further incidents, the scene was secured with the assistance of the Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office. Residents and witnesses are encouraged to contact the Stuttgart Police Department either by visiting in person or by calling 870-673-1414 to provide information that could aid the investigation. Authorities emphasized that every account, no matter how small it may seem, could help officials piece together the sequence of events.

As the investigation continues, the department has not released further details regarding the identities of those injured or the motive behind the shooting. Police are working to collect witness statements and review any available evidence to determine what led to the incident and who may be responsible.
