El Dorado, Arkansas – El Dorado High School is celebrating a major achievement after its cheer team captured a national championship at one of the most competitive events in the country. The Wildcats claimed the top spot at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Florida, bringing home a title that reflects months of preparation, teamwork and determination.

Competing in the varsity coed non-tumbling Division II game day category, the El Dorado cheer team stood out among a crowded and talented field. The Wildcats faced 27 other teams from across the nation, each vying for the championship spotlight. Judges evaluated performances based on crowd leadership, precision and overall energy, areas where the Wildcats delivered a confident and polished routine.

For the team, the win marked a defining moment in the program’s history. Performing on a national stage added pressure, but the cheerleaders remained focused on executing their routine and supporting one another through every count and motion.
