Arvest Bank launches new bilingual program to provide Spanish-speaking customers with easier access to full banking services

Little Rock, Arkansas – Arvest Bank is taking a significant step to enhance accessibility for Spanish-speaking customers by launching a bilingual branch initiative. The program, aimed at removing language barriers and improving customer experience, is set to begin at branches in Springdale, Arkansas, and Lawton, Oklahoma, with a third location planned for an under-construction branch in Kansas City, Kansas. The initiative will provide Spanish-speaking customers with a welcoming environment and dedicated resources to access the full range of banking services.

Officials said the program will include additional Spanish-language tools and a team of bilingual associates trained to assist clients with day-to-day banking needs, financial planning, and other services. Arvest plans to expand the initiative to additional branches in the future, continuing its commitment to accessibility and customer care. Currently, more than 500 Arvest associates across its four-state region are certified to provide products and services in Spanish, demonstrating the bank’s longstanding dedication to serving diverse communities.

“At Arvest, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard and understood,” said Cinthya Allen, Arvest Chief Engagement Officer. “Our bilingual branch initiative is an extension of that commitment.” Allen emphasized that removing language barriers allows customers to navigate their financial journey with confidence and clarity, ensuring they can access services without confusion or frustration.

The initiative builds on previous efforts by Arvest to support Spanish-speaking customers. In October 2023, the bank opened a Community Resource Center in Tulsa, which brings multiple departments together under one roof, staffed with bilingual employees. The center also offers free financial education programs in both Spanish and English, helping individuals build financial literacy and independence.

In addition to branch-level programs, Arvest supports HOLArvest, a voluntary, associate-led group focused on strengthening relationships with Hispanic and Latino communities. HOLArvest works to build awareness, engage local residents, and ensure that the bank’s services reflect the needs of these communities. Together, these programs reinforce Arvest’s strategy to provide equitable access to financial services and education.

The bilingual branch initiative is expected to make banking more approachable and inclusive for Spanish-speaking customers. By providing in-person support, language-specific resources, and education programs, Arvest is positioning itself as a bank that understands the importance of communication, representation, and cultural awareness in serving its customers.
