Lake Village, Arkansas – Authorities have arrested a teenager in connection with the death of a local man in Lake Village, Arkansas, marking a major development in an ongoing homicide investigation.
According to officials, the incident unfolded on the evening of August 20, when officers with the Lake Village Police Department (LVPD) were called to the 300 block of Black Street for a welfare check at around 8:00 p.m. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered the body of 65-year-old Willie McCree, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the discovery, the LVPD requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police’s (ASP) Crime Investigation Division (CID) to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding Mr. McCree’s death.
