Park Plaza Mall is hosting an exciting recycling event this Saturday where local organizations will help educate and engage the community in sustainable practices

Little Rock, Arkansas – This Saturday, March 15, Park Plaza Mall will play host to a special recycling event, aiming to educate the public on sustainability while offering an opportunity to donate items for a good cause. The event, called BLOOM: Recycle Rally, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is a collaboration between Park Plaza and the Museum of Discovery.

During the event, attendees can drop off a variety of recyclables, including electronics, glass, plastic, and cardboard. Recycling experts from eSCO Processing & Recycling, Waste Management, and Participants Recycle Bikes for Kids will be on hand to accept donations. For those looking to give back to the community, Participants Recycle Bikes for Kids will collect gently used bicycles that will be refurbished and given to children in need.

Additionally, the City of Little Rock Department of Public Works will be present to provide valuable information on recycling practices and sustainable living. Their team will offer resources and guidance on how to incorporate recycling into daily routines, helping residents make more environmentally conscious choices.

The Museum of Discovery will also contribute to the event by offering a hands-on family activity on the second level of the mall. This interactive experience will teach visitors about the process of recycling electronics, making it a fun and educational opportunity for all ages.
