A resort with outdoor hot springs is proposed next to Hot Springs

Butterfield, Arkansas – Lee Campbell, a former spa proprietor, has a dream for a plot of property in Hot Spring County: a hot spring outside beneath the stars.

This is nature’s paradise, in my opinion, Campbell remarked.

He was convinced to turn the 176 acres into Veza Village, an outdoor hot spring experience in Arkansas after he climbed the overlook of an old novaculite rock quarry on a foggy Wednesday.

“They are nowhere in a place where they should be everywhere,” Campbell said. The Butterfield ranch is thirteen miles from Hot Springs. Campbell contends that America’s first National Park evolved from a winter to a summer destination over time.

The lakes were the only thing that kept Hot Springs afloat once the casinos left and medical medicine arrived. “They constructed the dams that created the lakes,” Campbell clarified.

He believes that the 47 natural mineral springs’ latent potential could restore equilibrium to the hot springs tourism industry. He is building an outdoor hot spring in an old rock quarry because he was unable to obtain permission to build one in the city. He claims that he will have to “cheat” by heating the springs to replicate what other states and nations provide.

“They should be here, and they are everywhere in Colorado.” The Natural State is where we are. Thus, we must take that action. In order to show people what Hot Springs might become in the future, we must sow the seeds,” Campbell stated.

In order to finalize their design, Campbell and a business partner from Nashville, Tennessee are currently working with surveyors and other experts during the planning stage.

The makeover might take a year and a half, but he hopes to start construction by June. About five hot springs, four cold springs, waterfalls, accommodations, and even a balcony wedding site with this view will be available when it’s finished.

Veza Village will also have additional features. On the Veza Village website, anyone who wants to receive updates can join up.
