Tuesday was a major cleaning day for the Fordyce School District

Fordyce, Arkansas – Due to an uptick in absenteeism, Fordyce School District officials announced that the campus will be closed on Tuesday for sanitization.

To eradicate bacteria from the classrooms and buildings, a thorough cleaning is scheduled for Monday night, according to school district officials.

According to officials, teachers’ and pupils’ absences have increased.
