Residents respond to the gunfire on Colonel Glenn Road that injured three

Little Rock, Arkansas – Residents of Little Rock expressed their feelings following a gunshot on Colonel Glenn Road on Friday afternoon that injured three persons.

For many individuals, shootings are becoming all too familiar, according to Arthur Harris, which worries him.

“I heard about three or four shots as I was walking toward the business, and I saw a guy, a black victim, lying down with multiple gunshot wounds,” Harris recalled.

Three people were injured in a shooting at 6300 Colonel Glenn Road, which was reported to the LRPD shortly after 3 p.m. According to officials, one victim is stable and two are in critical condition.

“We have unfinished business on this third day, which has several meanings in the Christian community,” stated Chris Carrigan, assistant director of Arkansas Stop the Violence.

According to Carrigan, there must be a greater emphasis on the need to prevent gun violence.

LRPD spokesperson Mark Edwards stated, “Our officers arrived as soon as possible.” “We can get blocked off more easily the earlier we arrive on the scene and the more people we can bring in.”

Officers can obtain as much information as possible about the crime scene, which extends from South University at Circle K to the light by Cash Savers and Chester’s Chicken, according to Edwards.

Edwards stated, “As always, your hearts go out to these victims; it’s a senseless crime.”
Everyone is praying for the victims and their families, even though the identities of the victims have not yet been made public.

Harris remarked, “I just hope that he recovers and that everything works out for these people.”
