2025 begins with Dry January

Jonesboro, Arkansas – It can be difficult to give up alcohol for a month on a social and personal level, but keeping these pointers in mind might help.

Every year brings with it new objectives. Around the world, many people are abstaining from alcohol until February 1st as part of Dry January.

Throughout the month-long challenge, the Northeast Arkansas Regional Recovery Center offers advice on how to maintain motivation.

Hangovers are eliminated when alcohol is avoided. You might also save money by having a dry January.

Additionally, the challenge might be the beginning of a sober life.

The first few days may be difficult, depending on your alcohol intake, but you are not alone, according to NEARRC Senior Staff Joseph Veer.

Someone who is thinking, “I can’t do this, may I do need help,” might find it eye-opening, Veer said.

Veer urges everyone to get treatment if they think they could be dealing with addiction.

Dry January may help you lose weight, clear up your skin, and get better sleep, according to research.
