A woman who crashed a pickup into the school storage unit enters a guilty plea to child endangerment

Paragould, Arkansas – A Paragould woman who pled guilty to first-degree child endangerment after she slammed her truck into a school building while intoxicated was given a 48-month probationary sentence by the judge.

Christinia Taylor, 52, was also given a 120-day sentence with 90 days credit at the Greene County Detention Center by Judge Melissa Richardson of the Second Judicial Circuit.

Taylor is also required to pay all court costs and fees in $50 monthly installments upon her release, along with $300 in DWI fines.

Officers responded to a report on October 2 that a person was dozing off at the wheel of a truck with a little child inside, according to court filings.

The defendant “had driven away and onto a school campus, striking a large metal storage container,” according to the affidavit, before officers got on the scene.

The motorist, who was eventually named as Taylor, was arrested after police said she seemed to be “under the influence of intoxicants.”
