Running clubs from Central Arkansas come together for the third annual Last Chance Run

Little Rock, Arkansas – The third annual Last Chance Run brought together running clubs from Central Arkansas on Saturday morning.

Clubs had the opportunity to come together for a non-competitive run to raise money for the Central Arkansas Foodbank at the yearly event, which took place at War Memorial Park.

About 275 people ran and walked around the park in a two-and-a-half-mile loop. Even a half-mile children’s race was held.

The Last Chance Run Cup is a friendly competition between the participating running clubs. The cup is awarded to the club that generates the most money for the Arkansas Food Bank.

Every dollar donated will purchase five meals, as 1 in 6 Arkansans currently struggle to feed their families.

Over $20,000 has been donated to needy Arkansans during the event’s three years. Go to ArkansasFoodbank.org to make a donation to the Arkansans Foodbank.
