During the holidays, the annual McIntosh family bike giveaway returns to Arkansas

Little Rock, Arkansas – Christmas is a season of generosity, with families gathering together and youngsters anticipating the day when they will receive their favorite items.

That can be difficult for certain folks, though.

The McIntosh family has been striving to give the ideal Christmas to everyone in order to support those families that are in need.

Robert ‘Say’ McIntosh, my grandfather, began this many years ago. “I believe it began in 1962 when he was a local political activist and restaurant owner,” Robert McIntosh III, Robert McIntosh’s grandson, stated. “Me and my brother Chris recently opened up this restaurant and decided to continue on his legacy by giving back to the community.”

During the weekend’s annual McIntosh Bike Giveaway, that history was evident. Every child’s Christmas wish was arranged against the wall, allowing the family to provide needy families with the ideal holiday presents.

Being able to help others is a blessing, as seen by the parents, children, and everyone who tells us how we made their Christmas this year. “It’s quite pleasant,” Chris McIntosh remarked.

Every child had the chance to choose what they wanted for Christmas; the possibilities ranged from scooters to bicycles.

Families that participated in the giveaway expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to provide their kids with the ideal Christmas.

“We came up here and took a look at it because I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t be able to gift my kids anything for Christmas. Montarius Averitt’s mother said, “It’s such a blessing.”

Parents and kids were beaming from ear to ear for more than that. Children have the opportunity to ask for their holiday wishes from a North Pole visitor who was present.

The giveaway revealed the real meaning of Christmas in addition to the seeds seeded from Robert McIntosh’s legacy.

“This season is because of Jesus. It all comes down to having a giving mentality, especially toward people who are less fortunate,” said Michelle Nelson, the mother of Robert and Chris.
