Despite the rain, parade attendees in North Little Rock joyfully celebrate Christmas

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Magical beings, festive illuminations, and above all, loved ones.

The Christmas parade in North Little Rock might lack snow, yet it has emerged as a beloved event where numerous families come together to celebrate the holiday season. Similar to Maddison Sperry and her family.

“We have three young children, all cousins, and there’s a new baby over there,” Sperry stated.
Sperry expressed her determination to enjoy herself and cherish moments with her loved ones, regardless of the rain.

Sperry emphasized, “The holidays are all about family.” “You have the opportunity to celebrate and share joy with everyone.”

In addition to Santa, attendees were thrilled to witness performances by the North Little Rock High School dancers, JROTC, and various other groups that contributed to the festive spirit.

“My favorite part has to be the marching bands, the ROTC, and the joy on the faces of the little kids when they spot Santa,” said parade attendee Alice Alexander.

She mentioned that holiday parades like this have become a tradition, and this marks her second year participating in the one in North Little Rock.

“It brings us together as a community and as a people, and in the current climate, this is essential,” Alexander stated.
